In this video, we will go over vendors, both their roles and how to create them.

A vendor is a role that can be assigned to any user.

This role allows the user to have access to certain orders within the administration panel without being able to mess with other settings or orders.

This would be useful for example for a third-party printer who you want to have access to certain order pages so they can download the associated files and see the relevant order info.

Setting up a vendor is very easy.

You will firstly want to assign the vendor role to an existing user.

Simply go to the administration panel, hover over users, and click all users.

Next, select the user you want the vendor to be.

Scroll down a little bit and you will find the drop-down menu called role under the username text box.

Go ahead and choose vendor.

Scroll all the way down and click on update user to save the change.
