Learn how to seamlessly upload custom fonts to your Print Science Designer server. This tutorial covers naming requirements for PDFlib Blocks, supported file formats (TTF/OTF), and uploading font variations (Regular, Bold, Italic, Bold Italic).

This tutorial illustrates uploading fonts to the Designer server.
You must upload any font used inside PDFlib Blocks in the PDF template file.
Here is a list of the fonts that have already been uploaded to the Designer server.
Home > Fonts > Add.
Save button.
Fontname [Input field].
Regular system font [Browse...].
Bold system font [Browse...].
Italic system font [Browse...].
Bolditalic system font [Browse...].
Enter the font name.
The font name entered must exactly match the name of the font entered in the PDFlib Block dialog box.
Fontname: American Garamond BT.
For each font, we can upload up to 4 variations of the font: Regular, Bold, Italic, Bold Italic.
The regular version of the font is always required.
The other variations are required if you want your customer to have the option of switching between the variations during the Design Online process.

All fonts must be either TTF or OTF.

Here is the new font.
We can see that all 4 variations were successfully uploaded.
