Learn how to create and configure rectangular and circular mousepads in Fotovender. This tutorial covers dimensions, corner radius, DPI limits, image editor plugins, and ruler settings.

In this video, we will be creating a rectangular and circular mousepad product in Fotovender.
On the dashboard, to create a product, simply click the 'Create new product' button.
Here you can set a product name, followed by the product type, which in our case will be a mousepad rectangular and mousepad circular.
The corner radius refers to the amount of curvature on the corners of the mousepad.
A higher number means more curvature.
This setting is not available for the circular mousepad.
Next, set the dimensions of the mousepad.
These dimensions will be in the units set below.
The DPI soft limit and hard limit refer to the warnings shown to the user when adjusting the crop and zoom percentage of the image uploaded.
The more zoomed-in the image is, the lower the DPI and the lower the quality will be.
The DPI soft limit simply shows a warning to the user, suggesting they decrease the zoom percentage.
It will still allow the user to approve and save their edits.
The hard limit, however, will not only show another warning to the user, but also prevent the user from approving their edits as the quality will be too low to print.
Next are the units used.
These can be set to either centimeters or inches.
Under the plugin section, you are able to select the functions available to the user in the image editor.
These functions allow the user to make certain edits to their image, such as adjusting the crop, adding text, or using filters.
The next set of options are in regard to the rulers on the sides of the image in the image editor.
You are able to either show or hide them, choose whether the zero coordinates start from the center or the top-left, the units of the ruler, and whether or not the ruler is a simple line or an arrow.
Lastly, we can choose whether or not a thumbnail is generated.
This thumbnail will be used on top of a background image, such as a mousepad or a T-shirt, like in this example.
Clicking 'Create new product' will finalize the creation of this mousepad product.
